Industrial Tech Co. Leases 65K SF – New Jersey Leasing News

New Jersey is home to many terrific leasing opportunities. Here we present to you a rundown of  four exciting recent leases over the past week. 

Women’s Health Organization Leases 2,724 SF in Teaneck, NJ

Axia Women’s Health, a health organization for women, has recently inked a 2,724 square foot  lease at the Glenpointe campus on Frank W. Burr Boulevard, in Teaneck. Will Vasquez, director  of operations with Axia Women’s Health, has stated that “Glenpointe is a prime destination for  our newest care center due to its convenient location and wide range of on-campus amenities.” 

The deal was made with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, and the location will provide medical office  space for gynecologic care, high-risk pregnancy management, and infertility testing/treatment. In  addition, the campus includes access to a fitness center, a multipurpose outdoor amenity space,  700 hotel rooms, and dining locations.  

Industrial Technology Company Leases 65,500 SF in Iselin, NJ

Siemens, an industrial technology company, has recently leased 65,500 square feet at 200 Wood  Avenue South in Iselin. The deal was made with SJP Properties, providing Siemens with a newly  updated office building complete with amenities like a high-end fitness center and multiple  meeting areas, as well as convenient access to the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike,  and Metropark train station. 

Siemens will join the ranks of other companies that have established offices at 200 Wood  Avenue, such as international transport company DSV and financial services company Credit  Agricole. According to Alexander Erdos, senior vice president for leasing and marketing at SJP,  “the level of leasing activity we’ve seen at 200 Wood Avenue […] is a case study in what  companies are seeking for their employees and base of operations.” 

Day Care Center Leases 4,340 SF in Jersey City, NJ

Smart Start Academy, an organization for early childhood education, has leased 4,340 square feet  at 430 Palisade Avenue in Jersey City. As the operator’s seventh location, the space will serve as  a day care center. According to Smart Start Academy’s website, the new Palisade location offers  “eco-friendly sustainable energy”, “tall European-style windows”, and a “playground and park”  area. 

Smart Start Academy’s self-described mission is to provide an “exceptional learning experience  for the whole child, cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively.” 

Yarn Company Subleases 13,000 SF in Lyndhurst, NJ

Orchard Yarn & Thread Co. Inc., a yarn company, has subleased 13,000 square feet of office  space in the Meadowlands Corporate Center at 125 Chubb Road, Lyndhurst. The deal was  arranged by brokers with JLL, and the space will provide a full-height glass atrium with glass  elevators and a travertine marble facade, as well as amenities such as food services and a fitness  center. It also provides quick access to routes 3 and 17, the New Jersey Turnpike, and the Lincoln  Tunnel.  

Frank D. Recine, an executive managing director at JLL, said that “as the pandemic continues to  drive a change in work patterns, it has been a pleasure to work with two companies ready to  embrace the new normal with agility and an eye towards providing their employees [with]  amenity-rich environments” that inspire “productivity and collaboration.”
